 Negar Kiyavash
Assistant Professor
Negar Kiyavash joined the Department in January 2009. She received a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 1999, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, also in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
From 2006 through 2008, Dr. Kiyavash was a Research Faculty at Department of Computer Science and a Research Scientist at Information Trust Institute both at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests are in information theory and statistical signal processing with applications to computer, communication and multimedia security .
