Course Planning Consultant (CPC) Background
and Guest User Information
Who should use the CPC?
All continuing IESE students on campus or away, if Web access is
available. If not, contact the Chief Advisor to make needed entries
on your behalf.
What
should I use it for?
- To verify/change/update intended grad date and grad school plans. The graduation date info is used to classify you for potential awards and scholarships.
- To declare a GE Secondary Field
of Concentration title and option code (or change them) or indicate 'undecided'.
This data is forwarded
to your official Graduation
Check Sheet and departmental records, and without it, you risk having
degree-audit problems! The secondary field info is also used to
classify you for a few
potential awards and scholarships.
- To plan required courses for the next semester
and/or intervening summer term and have them checked for
meeting course prerequisites.
Guest
Users
If you are not active in the CPC
files (only IESE undergraduate students are active), use
the appropriate Guest logon (NetID) and password (birthdate)
data:
- A typical GE freshman 'GE Newbie': Logon = genewbie; Password
= April 4, 1989.
- A typical IE freshman 'IE Newbie’:
Logon = ienewbie; Password = April 4, 1989.
As a Guest User, you can freely alter the list of
GE or IE curriculum "courses completed" to fit your situation
by exercising the <make changes> option in the CPC's
VERIFY step.
